I’ve been realising that I am struggling with writing my blog over the past year, I’ve only written 15 blogs – this is number 16. I’ve come to realise that perhaps I’ve reached the end of my desire to write about my life. In some ways I think it is because my life has gone back to “normal”. I’m in my home town, working an ordinary office job and just going about everyday things.
When I started my blog, I had just moved to France and life was so different to anything I had every lived before. Working from home, living in the country side, trying to speak French; there was a magic in the difference and the exploration of a different country and a different way of life.
For me I just don’t want to write about my everyday life here in Perth, because the reality is I don’t feel it all that novel. It makes it difficult to write about in an interesting and dynamic way. So, for now I am signing off. There may be the occasional blog put up when something interesting happens but definitely for now, there will be no more from me, but Pat will continue every few weeks.
